What Are Rubber Auxiliaries

Rubber Auxiliaries originated from the vulcanization of natural rubber. After more than eighty years of research, until the 20th century 20 ~ 30 years, with the basic varieties of vulcanization accelerator 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and its sub-sulfonamide derivatives as well as p-phenylenediamine antioxidant industrialization, rubber auxiliaries before the basic formation of the system. Rubber additives in a stable period, vulcanization accelerator and antioxidant two types of major organic additives production of about 4% of the consumption of raw rubber.

Where R′ is H, R is an organic group; or R′ and R are organic groups; R′, R can also be ring-forming by the accelerator M or its sodium salt, but also by the accelerator DM, with cyclohexylamine (product of the accelerator CZ), cyclohexylamine (product of the accelerator DZ), diisopropylamine (product of the accelerator DIBS), morpholine (product of the accelerator NOBS), tertiary-butylamine (product of the NS), etc. through different processes. They are produced by different processes. Their vulcanization starts slowly, but the vulcanization speed is fast, they are called late-acting fast accelerators, and are mainly used in the production of tires and other large rubber products. In conventional formulations, their dosage is only two thirds of that of accelerators M and DM (the usual dosage of accelerators M and DM is 1 to 2 parts). In the so-called "semi-effective vulcanization" system (i.e. low sulfur/high accelerator combination), the dosage is up to 3-5 parts (with 0.2-0.4 parts of sulfur), which can obtain good processing safety and improve the overall performance of vulcanized rubber.
