Product Properties: Appearance: N,N'-di-n-butylthiourea is a colourless or light yellow crystalline solid. Solubility: soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, chloroform and ether, slightly soluble in water. Method of Preparation: The preparation of N,N'-di-n-butylthiourea is generally obtained by reacting n-butylamine with thiourea under appropriate conditions. Properties: white to light yellow crystalline powder, relative density 1.06. soluble in ethanol, soluble in water. N,N'-Di-n-butylthiourea can be used as a processing aid for rubber and plastics to improve their strength and hardness.
