DTDM 4,4′-Dithiodimorpholine Rubber Auxiliaries. It can be used as vulcanising agent and accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. When it is used as vulcanising agent, the active sulphur can only be decomposed under the vulcanising temperature, so it is safe to use this product and no scorching phenomenon will occur. The vulcanisation speed is slow when it is used alone, but it can be increased when it is used together with thiazoles, thiurams or dithiocarbamates and other accelerators. Although salicylic acid can promote the decomposition of the product and accelerate the speed of vulcanisation, but it can make the physical properties of vulcanised rubber decline. When it is used as accelerator, due to the high effective sulphur content of the product, the amount of sulphur can be appropriately reduced. When using this product, the rubber does not spray frost, pollution, discolouration. When used in effective and semi-effective vulcanisation system, the resultant vulcanised rubber has good heat resistance and ageing resistance.

Product Properties: White needle-like crystal. Relative density 1.32-1.38, soluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, slightly soluble in acetone, gasoline, insoluble in ethanol, ether, insoluble in water. Decomposed by inorganic acid or inorganic alkali. Stable storage at room temperature. Non-toxic, with fishy odour. Touching the skin or mucous membrane can cause strong and persistent pungency.
Product Usage: It can be used as vulcanising agent and accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It is easy to be dispersed without spraying, contamination or discolouration. When used in effective and semi-effective vulcanisation system, the resultant vulcanised rubber has good heat resistance and ageing resistance. It can release active sulphur under vulcanisation temperature, the effective sulphur content is 27%, it is safe to operate, the vulcanisation speed is slow when it is used alone, it can improve the vulcanisation speed when it is used with thiazoles, thiurams and dithiocarbamates. It is especially suitable for butyl rubber, mainly used in the manufacture of tyres, butyl inner tubes, adhesive tapes and heat-resistant Rubber Products, also used as bitumen stabilizer for highways.
